In a nutshell: This project describes piloting the use of yoga exercise to improve mental well-being in patients with diabetes and other long-term conditions. This took place in a general practice in Suffolk.  Pre- and post-participation anxiety and depression scores of participants are presented.

Enhancing the mental well-being of people with multiple sclerosis

In a nutshell: A service in south-east London has been developed to improve the psychological and mental health of multiple sclerosis patients using a range of therapies, including drugs, cognitive behavioural therapy and psychosocial interventions. The incidence of depression and other problems in MS is discussed and the care provided in the home and clinics by the service is described.
